Education, skills, and well-being for resilient communities

Practical learning, healthier lives, and pathways to confidence, employability, and contribution.

MB Foundation’s social pillar is centered on the idea that resilient communities are built through people. For many communities, stronger futures depend not only on formal education, but also on practical skills, interpersonal confidence, financial awareness, health knowledge, and access to applied learning opportunities that connect people to real sectors and real careers.

Our approach brings these dimensions together. We are interested in informal learning and community development opportunities that help people strengthen communication, teamwork, personal discipline, and financial management. We also see well-being as a core part of resilience, which is why health awareness, physical and mental well-being, and supportive community campaigns are part of this work. In parallel, we aim to encourage applied learning opportunities linked to Oman’s future-facing sectors, especially where technical capacity and employability can be strengthened.

This area may include community workshops, awareness programs, scholarship pathways, university-linked research, and technical learning opportunities connected to fields such as solar energy and agriculture. The long-term goal is not only to support participation, but to help people grow the confidence and capability needed to contribute meaningfully to their communities and the wider economy.
