Mohammed Al Barwani Foundation was founded by Dr. Mohammed Al Barwani and Sharifa Al Harthy, and was formally established in 2011 to carry out charitable activities on behalf of MB Group. From the beginning, the Foundation’s purpose has been grounded in the belief that prosperity should be shared and that communities should benefit where the Group lives and operates.
That legacy remains important. Over the years, MB Foundation has supported education, youth, health, women’s empowerment, and broader community welfare. Today, the Foundation is building on that history with a more focused approach to social responsibility and sustainability. The aim is not simply to do more. It is to do what is most relevant, most collaborative, and most likely to create lasting value.
Our work is guided by inclusion, dignity, stewardship, partnership, and accountability. We seek to listen carefully, partner locally, and communicate clearly about what we are doing, why it matters, and how progress will be tracked.
